The Oman Quality Network in Higher Education (OQNHE) is an independent, not-for-profit network of Omani Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) focused on quality enhancement in higher education. The OQNHE was officially launched under the patronage of Her Excellency the Minister for Higher Education on 20th September 2006. It was established with representatives being nominated from most higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Sultanate of Oman and an executive committee was established. Regional Conference on Quality Management & Enhancement in Higher Education 2012 PDF Print E-mail

The Oman Quality Network in Higher Education (OQNHE) is organizing  a Regional Conference on Quality Management & Enhancement in Higher Education 2012, on 20th and 21st February 2012, at the Intercontinental Hotel, Muscat, Oman. The Patron of this Conference is H.E. Dr. Rawyah Bint Saud bin Ahmed Al Busaidi - Minister of Higher Education in Oman.

Registration is now open and will close after February 13, 2012.

The Oman Quality Network held its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 9 March 2011 at Muscat College. The meeting was well attended, with Representatives from a wide range of Member institutions.

The OQN is organizing a workshop on ‘Establishing a Quality Assurance Unit in Higher Education Institutions’. The workshop will take place on Wednesday 22 December 2010 at the Oman Tourism College with a combination of theoretical and practical parts.
